good man is hard to find is mainly about the grandmother and the misfit, the grand mother seemed to be a little selfish due to her not getting her way with her son bailey on the destination of their trip. she is the reason for their accident because she got confused on the destination of the house and when she realized it was too late. this old woman should have kept quiet and her family would still be safe.

I agree that the grandmother was definitely selfish in her ways and she definitely did contribute to what happened to her family, she was a simple woman who spoke her mind, and did not think ahead of consequences, it always had to be her way. Although I think the outcome would have been the same, why else would they mention The Misfit from the beginning of the story, nevertheless, she did not help the situation
